American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, which is led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the international Red Cross Movement. The American Red Cross provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
The American Red Cross Badger Chapter proudly serves Adams, Columbia, Crawford, Dane, Grant, Green, Iowa, Jefferson, Juneau, Lafayette, Richland, Rock and Sauk counties, the city of Whitewater, and South Beloit, IL.
During the fiscal year 2011, over 56,914 people were touched by a program or service of the American Red Cross Badger Chapter. Over 220 families were assisted during a disaster, at least 939 military families received emergency assistance, and 42,207 people were taught how to help save a life.
Disaster can strike at any time. So can HOPE. So can you.
